Texas law encourages public schools to observe STAR Day through meaningful and patriotic activities that inspire a deeper appreciation for our state’s rich history. Today, we remember where we’ve been and celebrate the legacy that continues to shape our future.

Tomorrow Wednesday February 18th: Science Benchmark 5th & 8th grade students ONLY
Thursday February 19th: Social Studies Benchmark 8th grade students ONLY
Friday February 20th: Math 4th - 8th grade. (Sack lunches will be served if students are buying their lunch. Microwaves will not be used February 20th please plan accordingly.)
Please make sure students get plenty of rest and their Chromebooks are charged and ready to go!

Tomorrow February 10 students will be taking a ELAR Benchmark. Students please make sure your Chromebooks are charged and ready to go! Please make sure to get a good nights rest and eat breakfast in the morning. Students, you will do awesome tomorrow!
Today we experienced some issues with the 7th and 5th grade Field Test, and some students were unable to finish testing. T. E. A. has confirmed that an issue this morning caused a temporary interruption to testing. The issue has now been resolved. SRMS will resume testing tomorrow February 4th. Please make sure your student's Chromebook is charged and ready to go!


I hope everyone is doing well and staying warm! Quick announcement: This coming Tuesday February 3rd our 7th graders and 5th graders will be taking a STAAR Field test for ELAR. Students please make sure your Chromebooks are operational and charged. If your Chromebook needs to be repaired please turn it in to the office to get repaired.
